The goal of our admissions process is to ensure a good match between your family’s values and aspirations for your children and those of our school. We work closely with parents as an extension of the home.
Should you wish to know more about the Montessori method and IB Program and how our school operates, you are welcome to come for a tour of the school. The tour will cover all classes from the youngest children in our Children’s House to the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Treetops’ Courses Programmes in Years 11 and 12. The tour will take about an hour and there is an opportunity afterwards to ask questions. Tours work best if you are able to come together as a family, including parents, guardians and children. Tours run regularly throughout term time and can be booked by Admissions directly.
After you have had a tour, you are welcome to submit your Application for Enrolment form to place your child’s name on our Waiting List. In addition, we ask that your child or your family write a brief statement about your child’s hobbies and interests. This will introduce the teacher to your child, prior to enrolment.
Please note that we cannot process your application without:
- birth certificate
- a current Vaccination Status Certificate
- application fee
- any and all other requested documentation
All forms must be filled out in their entirety using black pen.
Failure to complete this process may lead to deferral of the enrolment.
If a place becomes available, eligible children will attend the school for an orientation session. In Wattle though to High School classes, orientation sessions run for five full school days and in Children’s House they run for one morning. At the completion of a successful orientation session a place will be offered.
Please bear in mind that we typically have only limited places available during the school year. Our major intake of children is for the start of each school year. We do offer intake throughout the year for children entering Children’s House, should there be a place available. You are welcome to apply for a place at any point during the school year and if there are no vacancies, your child’s application will simply be held until the next intake. For further information please contact the Office between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday or email our office.
