Children’s House joined Wattle in an exciting excursion to Kings Park “Naturescape”. This outing aimed to provide inquiry-based learning programs for our students, actively engaging them in the process of investigating, processing, organising and extending their knowledge.
Children were able to explore the benefits of the “Naturescape” area, allowing them to take risks and learn how to ‘risk on purpose’ in a natural environment which helps them develop. This session provides lots of ideas for taking learning outside (on such a beautiful Autumn day), integrating nature and curriculum outcomes. A very big thank you to all parent helpers today!
