NEW - School Bursar

We are seeking an enthusiastic Bursar to work in the Administration team. This a part-time position, with the role to commence from Term 2, 2026.

Our ideal candidate will have:
• Prior Accounts experience (Payables, Receivables, School fees) is essential , and experience within a school setting preferred.
• Working knowledge and experience or willingness to train in MYOB.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in both oral and written communication.
• Able to work proficiently and meet tight deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
• A friendly manner, approachable and engaging both in person and over the phone.
• Diplomacy skills with demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity across all areas of work.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to use discretion, initiative and knowledge to determine appropriate actions.
• A proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple commitments, maximising time management to achieve optimal output.
• A high level of computer literacy using a range of programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Proven experience in a similar role in then Education sector is ideal.

Relief - Teacher

We are now seeking enthusiastic Primary and Secondary relief teachers to cover Teacher absence at our school.

The School utilises the Western Australian Curriculum throughout the school together with the Montessori curriculum in Early years and the International Baccalaureate curriculum for years 11 and 12.

Key Objectives

To carry out the professional duties of a Teacher in accordance with the school’s policies, under the direction of the Principal.

The purpose of the Casual Relief Teacher is to support Treetops’ teaching programmes by providing a duty of care and normal learning environment in the classroom for students whilst their regular teacher is absent.

Key Responsibilities for the position

  • Facilitate learning consistent with Treetops’ mission, vision and values
  • Be responsible for providing a duty of care and normal learning environment in the classroom for students whilst the regular teacher is absent
  • Deliver the curriculum material provided by the teacher who is absent
  • To mark the attendance roll
  • Maintain the expected standard in learning and behaviour, in and outside of the classroom, through support for and implementation of the School’s policies and procedures
  • Undertake break duties and other supervision duties as required
  • Ensure that any hazards, incidents and injuries are reported immediately to relevant management.
  • Cooperate in relation to activities taken by the School to comply with WHS legislation

Qualifications

The successful applicant should hold:

  • A current registration with the Western Australian Teaching Board (TRBWA)
  • A current working with children check
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education
  • Well versed in individual learning styles and preferences.
  • Innovative in approach, able to enthuse and generate a passion for learning.

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, interpersonal and organisational skills.

  • Experience in a Montessori / Early years classroom may be of benefit for Primary Relief teachers

Experience teaching International Baccalaureate subjects or WAVE General (Yeras 11/12) may be of benefit for Secondary Relief teachers

  • Sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and other mandatory reporting requirements as they apply to Western Australian Schools, and a strong commitment to providing a child safe environment at all times.

Relief - Education Assistant

We are now seeking enthusiastic Primary and Secondary relief EAs to cover Education Assistant absence at our school.

Key Responsibilities for the position

  • Preparation of teaching materials and other items for the class teacher
  • Supervision of small groups as directed by the classroom teacher
  • Supervision of students with additional learning needs
  • Ensure the classroom environment is safe and clean
  • To deliver the appropriate program as outlined in any IEPs
  • To be knowledgeable of school philosophy, procedures and policies (i.e., physical intervention, incident reports, medication, etc.)
  • To show dignity and respect towards students and parents

Qualifications

The applicant should hold:

  • A current working with children check
  • Appropriate qualifications as an Educational Assistant, with a minimum Certificate 3 qualification
  • An ability to work with and alongside an experienced teaching team
  • Ability to communicate effectively to adults and students
  • To be competent in the use of computers in the classroom
  • Have previous experience working with students with diverse needs and/or learning disabilities.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience in a Montessori / Early years classroom is of benefit
  • Sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and other mandatory reporting requirements as they apply to Western Australian Schools, and a strong commitment to providing a child safe environment at all times.
